What is an Allergy?
Allergies are nothing more than inappropriate responses to something harmless. Allergies are an error in the immune system. Your body sees an ordinary substance as foreign and reacts to it, sending you into an allergic reaction involving any body system, organ or tissue. According to the Mayo Clinic your immune system makes antibodies that identify your particular allergen as something harmful, even though it isn’t. When you come into contact with the allergen, your immune system’s reaction inflames your skin, sinuses, airways or digestive system. What’s worse is now a new association is turned into an ingrained pathway in your nervous system which will associate that substance as a foreign object from there on out. It is a substance / association error that is made and learned by your nervous system.

How Does It Work?
The ASA Balance/Qi-5 is an energetic assessment and balancing tool utilizing state of the art biofeedback technology with a unique FDA approved 3 color inductive laser delivery system. By far the best way to address allergies that we have seen. It provides clean, coherent information that your body understands and adapts to.
This means balancing and healing of many systems of the body!
The system provides a three-tier approach for addressing your specific allergies and conditions. The treatment takes between 7 to 10 minutes and is completely painless.
Once the triggers and imbalances have been identified, the system re-exposes the patient to the harmonic frequencies of the triggers and imbalances while simultaneously going through a process known as immune conditioning.
Immune Conditioning is performed with a Class III Laser to stimulate specific nerve bundles in order to “re-educate” the body’s immune response to not act inappropriately when exposed to the actual allergen. This is based on old age principles of acupuncture with the advances of lasers instead of needles. (Sometimes I use this with acupuncture needles)
For example, if egg allergies are to be addressed during a session, the laser allergy computer will introduce the frequency for that particular egg allergen into the body. If a stress response is detected, the system will catalog it. Then, the clinic practitioner uses the laser to stimulate specific acupuncture points which releases endorphins and other chemicals that in turn creates a new positive response. So instead of that allergen causing your body to go into a habitual allergic reaction, the nervous system is now retrained to respond normally when you drink milk. Through this three-step process, a reconditioned nervous system response is developed which replaces the old pathway thus ridding you of that specific allergen.
Is it safe for children?
It is completely safe for children of all ages. Children, even infants often benefit as much or more than adults as they respond very well at a time their allergies seem to be the worst.
Are there any side effects?
No long-term side effects have been reported. Possible short-term side effects include: slight flushing of the face or congestion for a short time after the therapy. Patients with years of digestive problems may experience mild stomach discomfort for a day or two. Some fatigue may also be felt for a day or so. This is a positive sign the body is toxifying.
How many treatments will I need?
Systemic conditions have generalized symptoms throughout the body, usually with inflammation, and are treated with a 13-step protocol. This protocol is to find the underlying causes to most inflammatory conditions which ultimately comprise your immune system and increase your sensitivities to foods and other allergens.
Primary allergies: a simple error in the body associated with one major substance such as cat, nuts, or pollen. These allergies are usually balanced and cleared within one to three visits – depending on the allergy.
Secondary allergies: are symptoms of a bigger underlying issue that stimulates inflammation in the body like infection, toxins, emotional traumas, or other triggers. These allergies are generally resolved within the 13-step protocol. Allergy shots by comparison are usually from 12 to 24 treatments per year for two to five years (source WebMD).
Please keep in mind that natural healing can take time. You may not experience wellness over night, but may notice slight changes in your health after just one visit, or dramatic results are often manifest within a very short time. Often, long standing issues which have been present in the body can take several months to clear, however in our experience, THEY CAN BE BALANCED!
Why 13 visits?
The 13 visit program works with different categories in a specific step by step progression which has been shown to best support biological function.
Visits 1-4: address core basic nutrients, foods, emotions, and physiological body imbalances.
Visits 5-10: addresses advanced inflammatory triggers such as chronic infection, toxins, metals, pesticides, and other factors that may stimulate an inflammatory response.
Visit 11-12: addresses hormonal and overall body tonification
Visit 13: is a re-evaluation of the previous 12 visits. On the visit, you and your practitioner will be able to determine if any additional treatments are necessary, based on healthcare needs and goals.
